Having trouble keeping your shower glass looking like it did when it was brand new? We may have a solution for you. While we have not used this tip ourselves, it seems to be very popular on other sites and discussions.
There are two products, Rain-X Original Glass Treatment and Rain Clear, that some claim work very well at controlling water spots and soap scum buildup. That’s right, windshield wax for your shower glass.
After a thorough cleaning of the glass, simply apply following the directions on the bottle. Although a little smelly, this just might be the solution to the tuff job of cleaning and keeping that shower glass sparkling clear. Also, after the initial application, you may want to try using Rain-X Weatherbeater Glass Cleaner & Rain Repellent for regular cleaning. Its label claims that it cleans glass and applies the water beading technology in one step.
The 2-in-1 cleaner and repellent also claims that it “Helps prevent and remove sleet, snow, ice, bugs, and road spray from sticking to glass”. But hopefully you don’t have those problems in your shower.
