Many, many moons ago…
We started in the construction industry as custom homebuilders. We quickly learned that custom homebuilding was not all it was cracked-up to be. We won’t go into all the gory details here, let’s just say we were unhappy in this industry.
A premier remodeling company is born…
In the early 90’s we shifted our focus to residential remodeling. In just a few short years we built the business into one of the Denver area's premier – award winning - remodeling companies. All of this was accomplished by just the two of us and all done by word-of-mouth referral.
A beast is born…
In 1996 we hired our first employee. In 2000 we had 5 employees and needed to rent office space. By 2003 we had 18 employees, building up to six projects at a time each valued between $100,000 and $1.6 million. By 2004 we were chained to our desks writing employee manuals, negotiating health insurance programs and dealing with OSHA regulations. We were literally designing, selling and building projects we didn’t even care to do – but we had to feed the beast we had created.
A premier remodeling company is reborn…
In 2005 we made the decision to change our lives and our business. We decided to go back to just two guys doing what we love to do – enhancing the homes and lifestyles of our friends – our customers.
House & Home Services is born…
Over the years we have completed some truly incredible remodeling projects in some of the Denver area's most beautiful homes. But, we knew something was missing. We saw some of our best projects become “ho-hum” and sometimes even dysfunctional due to the lack of regular – proactive maintenance. We saw beautiful and sometimes very expensive homes losing their beauty, comfort and value to normal wear & tear and lack of regular maintenance.
In January 2008 we began offering regular, periodic, proactive maintenance agreements on the remodeling work we did to the home, in an effort to enhance the long-term value of our work. By request, in June 2008, we expanded this service to include the entire home. In January 2009 we began offering House & Home Maintenance Services to a small group of past remodeling customers.

Due to the popularity of this service, we are offering House & Home Maintenance Services to a limited number of busy, discerning homeowners who take pride in their homes.
