We have always wondered!  Yes we do need to get a life.  However, with some help from Yahoo Search and Wikipedia, we have learned that Thomas Crapper was indeed a plumber and plumbing inventor.  But much to our dismay, we learned that he did not invent the crapper.

 

We’re bummed!  Back to getting a life.
